What is gynecologic oncology?
Sanford Health’s gynecologic oncology team, led by Dr. Maria Bell, specializes in evaluating and treating women with pelvic cancer. This includes:
- Cervical cancer
- Ovarian cancer
- Uterine (endometrial) cancer
- Vaginal cancer
- Vulvar cancer
We also care for women with precancerous conditions and complex pelvic conditions.
What does a gynecologic oncologist do?
Your gynecologic oncologist begins with a variety of tests and exams to determine what type of cancer you have and the best way to treat it.
