Checking Your Blood & Bone Marrow Health
Hematopathologists are on your team for diagnosing disorders of the blood and bone marrow.
They also will diagnose disorders of the organs and tissues that use blood to function. These include the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, and other lymphoid tissue.
Sanford Health hematopathologists specialize in testing for patients with:
- all types of leukemia
- lymphoma
- benign hematologic disorders such as anemia, low blood counts and mild hemophilia
Our hematopathologists are usually board-certified in both anatomical and clinical pathology and have additional training in hematopathology.
