Dr. Gessner has taken courses on Tibetan Medicine, Ayurveda, and yoga through the University of Minnesota. He traveled to Dharamsala, India to the Men-Tsee-Khang Tibetan Medicine hospital. There he had the privilege of having an audience with the Dalai Lama and the Karmapa to discuss patients' suffering.

As a provider, my goal is to help relieve and reduce pain for my patients and to raise their quality of life. I want to provide my patients the skills to manage their chronic pain on their own and make their daily tasks easier.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Dr. Gessner enjoys spending time with his family, as well as doing outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and canoeing.
