I want to care for patients in a way that makes them feel heard and that all of their concerns are acknowledged. I want to know that as a provider, I’ve done my part to help empower my patients to navigate their health or social situation. Whether that’s educating a mom on Tylenol dosing for her infant or explaining a difficult new diagnosis to someone, I want them to feel that they were treated with respect, provided useful information and received quality care.

Dr. Patten is married and has a young daughter. She enjoys Nordic skiing, running, cooking, climbing, hiking, backpacking, track and field, telemark skiing and spending time with family.
