Yoga for Postnatal Recovery is thoughtfully designed to support your recovery after childbirth, helping you reconnect with your body, regain strength, and find balance as you embrace life as a new mom. This gentle, low-intensity practice includes stretches, breathing exercises, and strengthening movements with a focus on pelvic floor recovery, core stability, and overall wellbeing.

A special aspect of this class is the opportunity to bring your baby (up until they start crawling) to share in the experience. Whether your little one joins you on the mat for gentle movements or relaxes in their car seat, this class fosters bonding while allowing you to prioritize your recovery and self-care.

What to Expect:

  • Stretching: Gentle stretches to release tension in areas impacted by pregnancy and caregiving
  • Breathing: Techniques to help you relax, reduce stress, and reconnect with your body
  • Strengthening: Focused exercises to rebuild pelvic floor and core strength

  • Certified Instruction: Led by an experienced postnatal yoga teacher to ensure your comfort and safety.

When are the classes held? Sundays from 1:30-2:30pm

Where are the classes held? Group Fitness Room 1 at Family Wellness, 2960 Seter Pkwy, Fargo, ND 58104

What do I need to bring? Water bottle and a mat (optional). Family Wellness has mats for members and non-member participants to use.

How much does this class cost? $5 nonrefundable per class Registration is required.
