Terry Engelmann, CNM

Certified nurse-midwife Terry Engelmann is here to cheer women on through health crises, labor and birth. She believes in the midwife philosophy, which is that the midwives themselves don’t deliver the babies; the mom does. She does the work, she should get the credit. Nurse-midwives are the guardians of normal. They’ll know when something’s not looking right. When something isn’t normal, Terry and other midwives bring in consults to help out. Terry doesn’t consider people to be her patients or clients. They’re her peeps. She loves what she does, from working in the clinic to helping with labor and delivery.
