Rachel Wanzek, MD

When Dr. Rachel Wanzek was young, her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. When she was with her mom on doctor visits, she got to see her many interactions with a physician. Based on that experience, Dr. Wanzek decided that’s what she wanted to do with her life. In her practice, Dr. Wanzek never tells her patients what they need to do. Instead, she gives them all of their options and tells them what she would recommend. She’s honest with her patients and lets them know what she would suggest for her mom or sister in their shoes. She makes sure to get her patients involved in their health care decision-making. The best part of her job is to be there for a woman during pregnancy and childbirth.
