Amy Wingert, MD
Dr. Amy Wingert grew up wanting to be a doctor. Her grandpa had his first stroke when she was three years old, and even at that young age, she told her grandma that she was going to be a doctor. Now, as a family medicine provider, Dr. Wingert gets to do everything and see patients from babies to 91-year-olds. Every day is different. She could be treating coughs, colds, high blood pressure and diabetes all in one day. There is never a typical day in her practice. Dr. Wingert’s favorite part of her practice is deliveries. She gets to be there for that first cry and first moment for a baby. She’s also there for the first moment a mom gets to see her baby, the person she’s been waiting to see for nine months.
