The Cottage

The Cottage is a beautiful, four-bedroom residence where care is provided 24/7 in a warm and welcoming setting with the comforts of home. Each bedroom is a private room with a private half- bath. The bedrooms are furnished with a hospital bed and special care mattress, ceiling lift, dresser, recliner, 32” flat screen TV and CD player. The shared spaces include the living room, dining room, family room, den, and a central shower room which includes a full jetted whirlpool tub.

Each patient receives assistance with their personal cares (dressing, bathing, feeding and ambulation) as well home-cooked meals and laundry services are provided. A registered nurse is assigned to each patient to oversee their medical care under the direction of a physician. Daily cares are provided by an LPN or a Trained Medication Assistant.

The Cottage is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. We work closely with your physician to provide for all your medical needs and are in constant communication should something change. Our licensed staff will give you your medications as directed by your doctor. A nurse call-light is in each room. Each room is furnished with a patient lift system, ensuring your comfort and safety.

Family and friends are encouraged to visit you while at the Cottage. There are two rooms available for overnight stays if a family is from a distance away. At The Cottage your care is about more than medicine. We are here for your emotional and spiritual support as well as the support of your family and loved ones.
