A Specialist in Neuropsychology
Dr. Susan Wood evaluates cognitive and psychological functioning. She specializes in dementia and brain tumors.
She also provides care for patients with:
- Epilepsy
- Hypoxic events
- Movement disorders
- Stroke
- Traumatic brain injury
Dr. Wood is the department chair of neuropsychology and is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist in North Dakota. She is also part of Sanford Health’s deep brain stimulation multidisciplinary committee for patients with Parkinson’s disease.
She is an adjunct clinical professor in the psychology department of the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Wood completed her doctoral training at the University of Houston and postdoctoral fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine.
