A Specialist in Neonatology
As a Neonatologist, Dr. Moen specializes in the care of premature and critically ill newborn babies in the NICU.
She cares for infants with a range of conditions including:
- Prematurity
- Respiratory failure
- Congenital anomalies
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy
- Seizures
- Congenital heart disease
- Sepsis
She also specializes in resuscitation and stabilization of infants at birth.
Dr. Moen is the co-Associate Program Director for the UND Pediatrics Residency Program and also is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Services. She is the program director for the NICU Developmental Follow-Up Program which provides comprehensive care for high-risk NICU graduates.
As a Clinical Investigator through Sanford Research, she is examining outcomes for children cared for in the NICU.
