A Specialist in Addiction Counseling
Stacia Krzyzanowski is a behavioral health provider and licensed alcohol and drug counselor. She specializes in outpatient care for people experiencing mental health concerns and addiction issues simultaneously.
Stacia offers individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She also provides group therapy through a weekly support group for those with dual diagnoses.
Through Children’s Therapeutic Services and Support, Stacia can see clients ages 5 to 18 at Bertha Hewitt Public School. She works with each family to establish a plan that fits their child’s needs.
With a certificate in animals and human health, Stacia offers animal-assisted therapy sessions. Her therapy dogs and geckos can put clients at ease and help make sessions comfortable and effective.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma and is also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP) which allows her to help clients face triggers and manage obsessions without compulsion.
