Idea of Care

I have a lifelong history of severe persistent asthma with allergic rhinitis, which is the reason I pursued a career in allergy and immunology medicine. I am on, or have been on, many of the same medications as my patients and understand what they go through. I strive to create partnerships with my patients to allow for the best possible outcomes.

Personal Interests

Dr. Schend is originally from Snohomish, Washington. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and children exploring the outdoors or playing board games. He also enjoys all things Star Wars and Forgotten Realms.

Fun fact: His ancestor William Fuller was an expedition artist who painted many historical scenes of South Dakota in the late 19th century.
