Dr. Johnson grew up on a farm near Harrisburg, South Dakota, and fell in love with science and sports at an early age. He enjoys watching professional sports, particularly professional golf, NCAA basketball and NFL football. Other hobbies include birding, golfing and weightlifting. Outside of work, Dr. Johnson spends time with his wife and two daughters.
