Dr. Goven is a family medicine doctor who is trained in all major areas of medicine. She is qualified to care for most health care needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly.
In her career before Sanford Health, Dr. Goven has served multiple staff roles at CHI Mercy Hospital, including CHI Mercy Hospital Infection Control Medical Director, and Head Start Medical Director. Dr. Goven was also a Councilor for ND Medical Association 1997-2005.
