Idea of Care

It is a privilege to be able to care for patients. I work to build a good patient-physician relationship where the patient is an active part of their medical team. Patients should have a voice in their treatment, and it is important to know what their goals are and what is most important to them.

One of my goals is to do my best to educate my patients. I try to explain their diagnosis clearly and explore their treatment options with them. I come from a nonmedical family, so I know how important it is to explain everything in layman’s terms. I can draw pictures if needed, but that is not the best option considering my artistic skills.

Personal Interests

Dr. Fuentes-Dondoneau loves to spend time with her family. They try to spend as much time together as they can at the lake in the summer. Her family is also a “Disney family” and can oftentimes be found jamming out to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse songs.
