Dr. Fisher was born and raised in Fargo and has family ties in the metro area and rural North Dakota. He played basketball at Concordia College before attending medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing basketball and pickleball, and spending time with his family.
