Idea of Care

When I chose to become a physician, my motivation was to provide medical care in rural North Dakota. I’m still passionate about providing high-quality care to women and believe that the quality of care should be the same whether you live in a large city or a small town.

I enjoy getting to know my patients over their lifetimes whether it's to deliver their children, deal with menopausal symptoms and surgical issues, or educate them on health maintenance.

Personal Interests

Dr. Tong grew up on a ranch southeast of Bismarck, North Dakota. Now that her three children are adults, she enjoys scuba diving with her husband. They are active members of their community and church.

Through her church, Dr. Tong had the opportunity to serve in Africa, which was one of the most fulfilling journeys of her career.
