19th Annual Niimi’idiwin (Powwow)

The Healing Power of Heritage

The annual powwow provides an opportunity for Sanford Health and Indian Health Services Hospitals to invite community members to gather for a celebration of holistic healing and our community’s Ojibwe heritage. A celebratory meal of Red Lake walleye and traditional wild rice will be served.   

12 p.m. Grand Entry (All dancers must be registered in regalia by 1 p.m.)
Committee Dance Specials:

  • Men’s and Women’s Traditional, Men’s Grass, Women’s Jingle Dress, Potato
  • Royalty and Veteran’s Specials with random spot dances

4:30 p.m. Community Feast
