 She.Me.We is more than a campaign to build awareness for breast cancer, it is a support system for women that communicates that we're in this together...sisters, mothers, friends, me...all of us, joined together in awareness. At Sanford Health, we understand that receiving support from loved ones plays a key role in the healing process. This campaign is about uniting all of us in a sisterhood of awareness and support. Breast cancer survivors and women currently battling breast cancer can take comfort in knowing that in addition to the support they receive from their families, they also have the support of the community and the medical family at Sanford Health. "It was one year ago today that I had the routine mammogram that started me on my journey to a bilateral mastectomy. Friends and family were a tremendous support group for me – BUT I don’t know what I would have done without the caring and competent staff at Sanford Breast Health Institute. They truly care about each and every patient that comes through the clinic and I was so fortunate to know that as I was going through each and every procedure that the staff truly cared for me."
