The Pediatric Feeding and Nutrition Center at Sanford Children’s Specialty Clinic is a unique interdisciplinary team providing individualized consultation, evaluation and treatment of children with feeding difficulties. The team includes a pediatric gastroenterologists Brock Doubledee, DO and Gary Neidich, MD, a nurse coordinator, a pediatric nurse practitioner, a nutritionist, a social worker, a speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist.

Children That May Benefit Include:

failure to thrive (growth difficulties)
swallowing, chewing, choking or gagging difficulties
behavioral difficulties related to feeding
sensory difficulties
structural defects that cause feeding difficulties
hyperalimentation (TPN) feedings
gastrostomy Feedings
feeding difficulties related to prematurity
children transitioning from gastrostomy to oral feedings
